Want to Host a Workshop?
Author Lynette M. Smith would love to hold a two-hour presentation and workshop for your group, in which she'll show your 8 to 20 attendees how to write a heartfelt letter to the individual of their choice. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a solid start on their letter's first draft, plus clear direction on how to complete, package, and present their letter in a heartwarming way.
Lynette will start with a brief presentation on the benefits to letter writers and the people they're writing to, using examples of her own and others' experiences, and will offer some general letter-writing advice. Then she'll distribute useful handouts: a prompting sheet plus relevant list(s) of positive words to describe the person they're writing to. In the time remaining, Lynette will provide individualized guidance to all those requesting it. Lynette's letter-writing books (plus stationery and certificate holders) will be available for purchase and autographing or custom inscribing.
